What does the future for investing in real estate look like?

4/20/2022

Capture.JPGMy crystal ball says amazing, and I encourage anyone that is creditworthy to think of real estate as the path to financial independence.

It has treated me extremely well for almost 50 years and for 99.9% of my clients over the past 10-40 years. I am quite confident it will for you as well.

Unfortunately, the naysayers will have an entirely different point of view and will say it's time-consuming, it's illiquid, you have to deal with tenants, maintenance issues, is too risky, and on and on.

I wonder if they don't think living from paycheck to paycheck is not risky or if they are not aware that real estate is the # 1 investment option ahead of stocks and other investment options for the past 7-8 years according to Gallup.

So why am so bullish about real estate?

1. Housing will always be a necessity and the demand for rental properties is at a 50-year high.

2. It has met the test of time.

3. It is one of the safest investment options.

4. It is easy to understand compared to the stock market.

5. You are in control of your investment.

6. It is an amazing path to wealth-building, retirement income, and financial freedom when done correctly.

7. It provides cash flow, appreciation, tax benefits, and principal reduction.

8. It is easy to create a six-figure retirement income with enough of the right properties.

9. There are properties available for every budget and price point.

10 Real estate is relatively safe especially when one falls in love with the deal, not the property, and doesn’t take any shortcuts with inspections.

11. While the number of households headed by owners remained flat, households headed by renters grew by 10 percent during the same period.

12. The total number of U.S. households grew by 7.6 million over the past decade, according to Pew.

Still not convinced? It is your business how and where you invest your hard-earned money, and it is our business to at least make you aware of what you may be missing by not being in the "game.

Always remember, it is not about how much money you make but what you do with it. Think real estate, the gift that will keep on giving and giving when you will need it the most @ retirement.
